Mike McCoy (he/him), co-chair of Saskatoon Pride (Saskatoon Diversity Network), has been active in Saskatoon's queer community since the 1960s. He was a founding member of Saskatoonm's first gay & lesbian social club, the Zodiac Friendship Society, and a founding co-chair of Gay & Lesbian Health Services, now OUTSaskatoon, where he is a now member of the Coffee Row group for older queer adults. He is the 2019 recipient of OUTSaskatoon's OUTstanding Award for longtime service to the queer community. In 2019 and 2020, he helped establish Spark Your Pride, a new 2SLGBTQ+ event at Saskatchewan’s Western Development Museum exploring the experiences and history of the queer community.
